MY 30's

It’s usually in your thirties when you start to notice signs of aging, such as crow’s feet lines, frown lines between the brows, and brown spots or redness discoloring your skin. At Allura, we can help treat trouble areas and restore your skin to its youthful beauty.

MY 30's

Wrinkle reducers like BOTOX and Dysport do a great job of softening the lines and creases on your forehead, between your brows, and along the sides of your eyes. These lines develop over time as a result of facial expressions, underlying genetics, and injury from the environment, such as from tobacco or sun exposure. By treating these lines when you’re in your thirties, you can actually prevent them from developing into deep creases or wrinkles. Wrinkle reducers are most effective when the same area is treated every three to three-and-a-half months.

We use fillers such as Juvéderm, Restylane, and RADIESSE to soften nasolabial lines – the ones that extend from your nose to the corners of your mouth. By injecting a filler into these lines, we can soften their appearance. Fillers can last up to 12 months and sometimes even longer. Fillers also work well to gently augment or bring volume to your lips, giving them a more youthful appearance.

If you have uneven skin color, acne scars, enlarged pores, mildly loose skin, and fine lines, Fraxel, our fractional laser, can smooth your skin, reduce lines and your pore size, and return the glow to your skin by producing new skin cells.

Pregnancy-related melasma becomes more apparent in our thirties. Darkening of the skin over the upper lip is probably the most common area, followed by the forehead and cheeks. We can treat melasma with Fraxel and a combination of peels or creams.

Before and after your treatments, we will help you continue to improve your skin by recommending an easy skincare regimen using SkinMedica® products.

Laser hair removal is a great way to get rid of unwanted hair, whether it’s on the face, armpits, abdomen, bikini area, or legs. Laser hair removal requires a series of treatments four to six weeks apart, and generally four to six treatments are needed. The best results occur when the hair is dark and coarse.

If laser treatments are out of your budget and/or if you have blonde, white/gray, or red hair, a great alternative is electrolysis. If you have dark hair, you can also have electrolysis if you are concerned about hyperpigmentation of your skin. Just like lasers, electrolysis is a series of treatments, typically four to six weeks apart. Additionally, we offer very affordable wax treatments to remove facial hair.

Stretch marks occur with a rapid growth spurt or rapid change in weight that stretches the skin. Whether they are on your belly or upper thighs, they can be treated with our fractional lasers, either Fraxel or DOT Therapy. The appearance of the stretch marks and the length, width, and number of lines help determine which laser will work best for you. The overall appearance of your skin will be considerably improved, and you’ll receive the added benefit of mild skin tightening. At the time of your initial consult, we will determine which laser to use, the number of treatments you will need, and a post-treatment skincare regimen.

Whether you’ve had children or not, you will start to notice changes in the shape of your body, especially on your arms, belly, knees, or buttocks. It may be loose skin, love handles, and/or cellulite. At Allura, we’re proud to be able to offer CoolSculpting and Thermage for problem areas. Both treatments help tighten loose skin and improve the appearance of cellulite by using heat.
