Dysport®

What causes the frown lines? You don’t get them necessarily because of age, but because of the way your face moves. Over time, repeated movement of the facial skin by the forehead muscles from frowning or squinting forms lines between your brows. In some people, they are more pronounced than others. Dysport® improves the look of those lines without changing the look of your whole face.

With just one injection into each of five points between and over your eyebrows, Dysport blocks the signal from the nerve to the muscles, temporarily reducing the muscle activity and preventing the contraction that causes the frown lines. The results from Dysport can last three to four months.

Dysport is very similar in composition to BOTOX®, although dosing units and pricing structures are different.
