Skinvive™ by Juvederm® is the first and only FDA-approved hyaluronic acid (HA) microdroplet injectable in the U.S. that changes the appearance of your skin, rather than the shape of your face. The fillers you may be more familiar with, like Juvederm® or Restylane®, are used to replace lost volume and/or augment various areas of the face.
Skinvive™ is often referred to as a “skin booster” rather than a filler since its job isn’t to rebuild volume like other fillers on the market but rather to hydrate your skin and give you a glowy look. It increases hydration to improve skin smoothness and provide a lasting glow for up to 6 months with optimal treatment.
Skinvive™ At A Glance
Skinvive is injected as tiny microdroplets of hyaluronic acid within the top layer of skin, aka the dermis layer. The treatment improves the quality of your skin in the cheek area, leaving you with a healthy, natural glow.
The most common side effects include redness, swelling, tenderness, and slight itching at the injection site. Most side effects resolve within a few days.
Skinvive is paired with lidocaine, meaning clients experience less pain with each injection. Our providers can also offer ice, or a vibration anesthesia device to further reduce discomfort.
