BOTOX® injections temporarily reduce muscle activity that cause wrinkles to form on the face. Treatments are custom-fit to meet every client’s needs. Injections are applied to specific areas of the face to target wrinkles around the eyes, brows and forehead areas. BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments are temporary and are recommended to be completed every 3-4 months.
The most common side effect of BOTOX® injections is temporary pain and swelling at the injection site. Other side effects include eyebrow/eyelid drooping or swelling. These are rare side effects that go away on their own due to the temporary nature of this treatment. Most clients report BOTOX® feels like a pinch at the injection site. Providers can apply a cooling pack or numbing cream to the area prior to injection to minimize discomfort.
