Dermablading At A Glance

  • Dermablade treatments are offered as an add-on service to any spa treatment at Allura and take approximately 15 minutes.
  • Clients get immediate results after the Dermablading treatment. The treatment is often repeated every 4-6 weeks as peach fuzz returns.

How Does Dermablading Work?

Dermablading works by gently scraping away dead skin cells as well as vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the face. Your provider will use a sterilized surgical scalpel to remove dead skin cells, peach fuzz, and other impurities that have collected on the top layer of your skin. After the procedure is completed, a serum will be applied to moisturize the skin and boost results

Are There Any Adverse Effects?

Common side effects of dermablading include redness, dryness, and potential flaking of the skin. All of these side effects resolve after a few days. It is recommended that clients minimize sun exposure and use sunscreen after their treatment.

Does Dermablading Hurt?

Dermablading treatments are painless. Many clients even find the procedure to be relaxing and pleasant.

Should I Consider An Alternative to Dermablading?

Dermablading is a gentle treatment that is suitable for most clients – including those with sensitive skin and even rosacea. The treatment can be paired with various skin peels as it increases the product’s absorption and effectiveness, giving even better results. Dermablading is not recommended for clients that have an active acne breakout as it could worsen the breakout.
